welcome to this website, dedicated to tel aviv at her 100th anniversary, and to all telavivis! early 2008 i moved to tel aviv and lived here for more than a year as a self appointed photographer in residence and - after a short stint in a language school - spent most of my days (and nights) exploring the streets of this exciting city. using the tools of street photography most images show life and events that are visible to anyone who would come to tel aviv with his eyes and mind opened. as i have tried to avoid beaten tracks you will hardly see too many sun worshippers on the beach, landmark bauhaus buildings or young soldiers carrying m16 rifles into street cafes. work on this project will not be complete for quite some time but so is tel aviv - work in progress. hoping you will enjoy these photos i would be happy to receive your feedback, please feel free and use the email form. amos schliack
